The team defines the realistic disaster scenarios (RDS), which provide the Franchise with an informative view of aggregation risks within both the syndicates and the market.

Back in the big house

“Look who decided to come back…” was what greeted me as soon as I set foot back into the Lloyd’s corporation, I thought having spent six months in the market that I would have been forgotten about, obviously I was wrong!
Living the underwriter lifestyle within the Lloyd’s market is something that truly is a one [...]

All change please

Posted on Tuesday, March 10th, 2009 at 5:28 pm

I was introduced to everyone in the [...]

First days at Lloyd’s…

Posted on Friday, November 21st, 2008 at 1:37 pm

So my time had come and my first day at Lloyd’s was upon me. There was an apprehensive feeling of the unknown in the air, not knowing if I’d get on well with my team, enjoy the work or even fit in with the culture at Lloyd’s…luckily all these ideas were quashed in my first [...]

Bright sparks start grad scheme

Posted on Friday, November 14th, 2008 at 4:28 pm

So these are the bright sparks Lloyd’s have got in on their new graduate scheme?
Like most students I still didn’t really have a clue about what I wanted to do for a career, my dreams of becoming an astronaut were definitely not going to materialise so I had to look elsewhere….
I heard about the new [...]
