Something about the department

The International Regulatory Affairs team is responsible for developing and managing Lloyd’s relationships with regulators – and influencing regulatory policy – in all overseas territories in which Lloyd’s writes business.

Making a positive impact

Posted on Thursday, September 17th, 2009 at 12:08 pm

Today I gave a presentation with Filip Wuebbeler, a manager in International Markets, to the new cohort of graduates who started at Lloyd’s.
As part of their induction week, the new graduates were given a series of presentations from various departments within Lloyd’s, to give them a better insight into what each of the departments do.

Placement calls

Posted on Friday, May 01st, 2009 at 4:58 pm

It has now been eight months since I started at Lloyd’s, and having had a fantastic time working for the International Regulatory Affairs team, I am about to embark on my next placement within Lloyd’s where I’ll be joining International Markets.

I hope you’ve all been getting your applications in quickly because the deadline is fast approaching (31 January)  and the assessment centres have already begun.
I heard a rumour that the first assessment centre got underway the other day, so I popped up to the 11th floor to have a look and see how people were getting [...]

What life would be like

Posted on Friday, November 14th, 2008 at 4:28 pm

If you’re reading this you’re probably wondering what life would be like and what you would actually be doing if you were working at Lloyd’s. I’d imagine that many of you will also be trying to work out exactly what Lloyd’s does.
Hopefully, at this stage you’ve ascertained that we have absolutely nothing to do with [...]
